Career Pathways - It's Your Future
05/01/2017
Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways offer students an opportunity to build on their academic core preparation while receiving career-focused training. Students in CTE pathways apply their academic core learning in a real-world context and therefore closing the "knowing and doing" gap, leading to improved college and career readiness. Students gain this experience through work-based learning opportunities, such as guest speakers, company tours, or internships. The skills gained through CTE pathway participation benefits students transitioning to college and career.
